The Kansas Sentencing Commission is pleased to announce that Judge Lori Bolton Fleming has been appointed to the Commission.
Judge Bolton Fleming was appointed to the Kansas Court of Appeals in 2025. Prior to her appointment, she served as chief district judge of the 11th Judicial District after being appointed to the bench in 2012. She was previously an attorney in private practice, a prosecutor, and an adjunct professor. She is a graduate of Pittsburg State University and Washburn Law School.
Judge Bolton Fleming replaces Judge Stephen D. Hill on the Commission. Additionally, the following Commission members were reappointed effective July 1, 2026: The Honorable Stacey L. Donovan, The Honorable Benjamin J. Sexton, and Spence Koehn.
